The Joint Urban 2003 (JUT) experiment conducted in Oklahoma City included a tracer experiment with 150 bag samplers and 10 real-time analyzers fielded by NOAAs Air Resources Laboratory Field Research Division. Ten different intensive observation periods were conducted during June and July of last year. The data set is unparalleled in its broad scope. Both real-time analyzers and bag samplers were placed at the surface and on building roof-tops to compare ground-level and elevated tracer concentrations. This paper provides an initial look at the paired surface and elevated tracer concentration data. Nocturnal and daytime concentration data are also compared.
