The implementation of online weather studies at Texas Southern University during spring 2005

Texas Southern University is a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) that has been designated as a special purpose institution of higher education for urban programming. Texas Southern University's online weather course will be offered in the Geography Program during Spring 2005. Currently, there is a minor in Geography, at Texas Southern University, with the eventual goal of offering a Geography major.
The course will be taught through a combination of classroom lectures and online study using real-time data. The course will serve as a minor degree requirement for Geography students and also as a natural science elective.
