The date match problem - Some thoughts on matching the diverse schedules of colleges and universities with the Online Weather Studies dates.

Southern Wesleyan University (SWU) is a small Christian, liberal arts institution with a major campus in the town of Central, SC and several satellite campuses which serve primarily our evening Adult and Graduate Studies program. The Online Weather Studies (OWS) program has a fairly fixed schedule for the online portion using current weather. One of the OWS semesters has a break and one does not. Some schools have Fall Break some have Spring break, some both. Some have full week breaks and some have shorter breaks. Semesters start and end at times that differ from the OWS schedule. This poster shares some thoughts on dealing with these differences in a way that has minimal impact on the learning of students.
