Using DLESE to bring atmospheric and oceanographic digital resources to the classroom
Exhibit Hall A2 (Georgia World Congress Center)
William R. Huskin, Central Bucks School District, Doylestown, PA; and J. D. Moore

This poster will highlight how atmospheric and oceanographic digital resources can be used in the k-13 classroom. The AMS trains teachers in atmospheric/oceanographic content. CPESE, the Cooperative Program for Earth System Education, which includes DataStreme Atmosphere, DataStreme Ocean, DataStreme Water in the Earth System, Project Atmosphere, and the Maury Project has trained over 100,000 teachers - which has benefited millions of students. The DLESE community provides standards-based lessons, visulaizations and data sets for use in the classroom.
