Tornadogenesis in nonsupercell thunderstorms

An overview of tornadogenesis associated with nonsupercell thunderstorms will be presented. This presentation will provide of an overview of the first comprehensive documentation of these events in Colorado. It will also discuss the relationship of these events with waterspouts and tornadoes associated with quasi-linear convective lines. Areas of future research will be highlighted.
