Online Lab Science Course: Meeting the needs of a non-traditional student
Exhibit Hall A2 (Georgia World Congress Center)
Online Weather Studies has been taught on our campus since the spring of 2004. We have maintained a steady enrollment of 20 each semester that it has been offered. The course usually fills the first or second day of the pre-registration period. It has served the non-traditional student's need for a lab course when they are unable to take classes during the normal 8:00 – 4:30 classroom setting.
All of the completed exercises are submitted in one of three ways; email, FAX, or hand delivery. The tests are taken in the evening on-campus, or at an off-campus approved testing center.
