Numerical Forecast of the Primary Air Pollutants (SO2 NOx TSP) in Shijiazhuang City

The CAPPS(City Air Pollution Prediction System) was used to simulate the pollutant standards index of the primary air pollutants(SO2°¢NOx°¢TSP) in Shijiazhuang City . The results show that the A value of CAPPS should be adjusted, and added the modification of time's coefficient of pollutant emission (Ti) when it being used. It also needed to modify with the percent of raising dust (F) to the CAPPS in the cities of North China . The correlation coefficients between the predictions and the observations of SO2 , NOx and TSP were raised to 0.947 , 0.878 and 0.914 respectively after the modifications by Ti and F.
