Everyday Weather, Project Atmosphere and DataStreme, “Reaching Out To The Educational System and Community!

Drs. Geer ,Weinbeck, Smith and Moran along with the National Science Foundation, the National Weather Service, NASA and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration have evolved a program in weather and oceanographic education that has reached fruition in on-going web based courses. This presentation will provide a chronology of the evolution of these projects from the point of view of a local implementation leader involved with the program since 1984.
