NOAA's 12 Testbeds and Proving Grounds are crucial mechanisms for transitioning research into operations at NOAA and other partners, and ultimately into societal benefits.  While each of these groups focus on different aspects of the forecast problem, they have a common overarching goal of improving the forecast information that is reaching the public by engaging with the research community to support the transitions of innovations into operations.  The purpose of this forum is to inform the community about how these entities are facilitating the transition of research to operations and what avenues are available for the community to engage, as well as collect community input.
