Interactive Forecast Preparation System Implementation Plans in Alaska

The first version of the Interactive Forecast Preparation System (IFPS) designed for forecast operations in Alaska on the Advanced Weather Information Processing System (AWIPS) arrived with AWIPS Build 5.1.1. We present our plans for phasing IFPS into operations in this major milestone in modernizing forecast operations in Alaska.
