Interactive applets for atmospheric sciences

Over the past few years, we have been developing highly interactive Java applets for atmospheric science education, that can be used over the web or integrated into your own curriculum web pages. More recently, some of these have been modified to make use of the data catalogs becoming available through the THREDDS project to access the needed real-time data. This poster session will present many of these applets and give you the opportunity to explore the possibilities of this exciting approach firsthand.
