PCMDI's "portrait" and "Taylor" diagrams, doing science with CDAT

The Climate Data Analysis Tools (CDAT) package allows scientists to work in a single, open, environement, and to easily performs diagnostics and produce publication quality output. We show here how esily we incorporated Karl Taylor fortran based diagnostics into CDAT and produce the associated innovative graphic output.
