The water budget of Guemes Island
Joost A. Businger, University of Washington, Anacortes, WA
The physics of the various components of a water budget will be reviewed with the aquifer of Guemes Island as an illustration. Special attention has been given to water storage in the root zone and to climatological variability.
In connection with what we have learned here, some comments will be made concerning water budgets in dry areas
