This presentation will provide insight and experience from NWS forecasters on the challenges and benefits of preparing gridded forecast information. Changes to the forecast process and how forecasters deal with those changes will be discussed. Challenges of preparing parts of a meteorologically consistent national forecast data base will be examined. There will also be a discussion of the potential to provide higher resolution information to partners.
