Television meteorologists have a unique opportunity to teach their audience about the facts of rapid global warming. Our viewers develop an affinity and sense of trust with us and they invite us into the living rooms. In that light, we have developed simple analogies and techniques to explain the science of climate change. I will show how these same methods can be used by meteorologists and climate scientists in their own presentations. Whether speaking to average Americans or testifying before elected officials, these tips will come in very handy!
