Validation of Operational NOAA-20 OMPS Environmental Data Records

NOAA has launched a second Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite (OMPS) on NOAA-20, the first of four satellites in the JPSS program. This poster will describe the validation and evaluation of the operational ozone products available from the S-NPP and NOAA-20 OMPS measurements. The products include daily global total column ozone, nadir ozone profiles, UV reflectivity, aerosol indices and total column SO2 estimates. The results will include comparisons to other space-based instruments, ground-based ozone measurements, and evaluation and analysis of the internal monitoring of measurements and products from an automated suite of web-based graphics.
