Host: 35th Conference on Environmental Information Processing Technologies
Cochairs:

Federal government agencies active in meteorological services and supporting research describe existing and planned programs, projects, and coordination mechanisms that involve multiple government agencies, and aim to increase overall effectiveness within the federal weather enterprise. These mechanisms include bilateral agreements between agencies for shared use of observing systems, numerical modeling resources, and product dissemination systems. Also of interest, standing committees and panels that provide opportunities for synergistic engagement among multiple agencies, particularly in areas such as aviation weather and disaster preparedness and mitigation. The session may begin with a description of the coordination committee (the Interagency Committee for Advancing Weather Services) mandated in the Weather Act of 2017.
