The Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorological Services and Supporting Research (OFCM) coordinates all aspects of meteorological data, services and information across the Federal Weather Enterprise. Under the auspices of the OFCM structure, the Committee for Climate Services Coordination (CCSC) addresses the exchange of climate information and has identified the growing need for centrally located predictive and projective climate data. To this end, the CCSC is developing the S2S-Decadal Climate Services and Information Database for access to sub-seasonal to decadal (S2D) products and services that are available from multiple agencies based on categorical needs to support Informed Decision Support Services (IDSS). This database provides an opportunity to assist climate services providers with data sets & products that will help inform decision makers in their long-term planning efforts. This paper will describe the scope of the database as well as the schedule for implementation and public use.
