The prototype of high-impact weather genesis potential estimation system is proposed, based on the THORPEX Interactive Global Grand Ensemble (TIGGE) data sets. The main events we are interested in are not only tropical cyclone track forecasts, but also other phenomena, such as heat wave, flooding, drought etc. The basis concept will be presented and will be shown for an example for the Northern Vietnam flooding in November 2008.
