ONLINE WEATHER STUDIES AT BLUEFIELD STATE COLLEGE

The School of Arts and Science at Bluefield State College is delighted to present Physical Geography, the premiere offering during the spring semester of 2004. The class will utilize the AMS (American Meteorological Society) online course of weather studies, and will be offered in the Department of Geography under the course number 290. Bluefield State College is an HBC Liberal Arts Institution, with campuses in Bluefield, Beckley, Lewisburg, Summersville, and Mount View, in conjunction with New River Technical Community College.

The course will apply as Continuing Education to RBA (Regional Bachelor of Art) degrees, and will be accepted as an Applied Science requirement. The first session of the course will be offered on IVN-DL, sent to the four off-campus sites, after which, succeeding sessions will be completely on web-DL. The director and professor for the course will be Asst. Geography Professor John M. White.
