A combination of observational and theoretical analysis will be presented which indicates that we should expect little or no alteration of global tropical cyclone intensity or frequency when there is a doubling of CO₂ near the end of this century.

This talk will also discuss the author's long period (since 1957) observation of the unique meteorological career of T.N. Krishnamurti (Krish) and how I have profited from his example.
