The Unlikely Influence of CO2 Increases on Tropical Cyclone Frequency and Intensity
Hall E (New Orleans Convention Center )
A combination of observational and theoretical analysis will be presented which indicates that we should expect little or no alteration of global tropical cyclone intensity or frequency when there is a doubling of CO2 near the end of this century.
This talk will also discuss the author's long period (since 1957) observation of the unique meteorological career of T.N. Krishnamurti (Krish) and how I have profited from his example.
