Weather Versus Climate Resources: Time for Rebalancing?

A major issue facing our discipline is the relative resources made available for weather forecasting and climate, both for research and operations. This presentation will review the current division of resources between weather prediction and climate and will provide recommendations on a reasonable balance between these highly related and interdependent activities.
