Educating the Next Generation of Geoscientists: Engaging undergraduates in the study of climate science

A hybrid introductory geology course incorporating project-based learning activities in the classroom and online coursework was designed to increase geoscience literacy, accurate understanding of climate and critical thinking and analysis of real-time data. Observations and analysis of preliminary results of student performance will be presented.
