The Arctic Report Card is an approachable, peer-reviewed source of clear, reliable and concise information on the current state of the Arctic environment relative to long-term records. The material presented in the Report Card is prepared by an international team of scientists, assisted by section coordinators and the editorial team. Independent peer-review of the Report Card is organized by the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme of the Arctic Council. Published on-line (www.arctic.noaa.gov/reportcard/), it is an authoritative resource for a wide audience, including scientists, teachers, students, decision-makers and the general public.

This paper will present the Arctic Report Card update for 2014, which is planned for release in December 2014.
