NOAA’s Integrated Dissemination Program

NOAA's Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP) was established to transform the organization's dissemination capabilities from a collection of independent stovepipes to an integrated enterprise-wide dissemination service. The funding is primarily derived from three separate funding lines: the NWS Telecommunications Gateway Re-architecture, NextGen, and the NWS Ground Readiness Project. These funding streams have allowed NCEP Central Operations to build and operationalize the infrastructure in College Park, MD, and will provide for a redundant backup system in Boulder, CO by September 2015. The poster presented will include an overview of the infrastructure, the pipeline of projects and products that are and will be processed and disseminated on IDP, and how the system is supported and maintained.
