The presentation will briefly discuss the mission of the federal government agency, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, which "promotes energy independence, environmental protection and economic development through responsible, science-based management of offshore conventional and renewable energy resources." In addition, there will be a discussion of methods (e.g., OCLC interlibrary loans, EDMS) that an embedded librarian uses to obtain and manage information used to support this mission.
