National Weather Service's (NWS) Impacts Catalog is the technological cornerstone for achieving and delivering a Weather-Ready Nation.  Impacts Catalog is the pathway for positioning the agency to better "anticipate the needs of our partners,” and for evolving how we communicate with them and ultimately the public that we serve.

This presentation provides updates on the evolution of the product, amendments to the timeline for delivery, and revisits the goals and expectations of this technology.  The discussion will elaborate on how NWS views Impacts Catalog as the needed support to our key partners who are also mission-driven to protect life and property.  Finally, emphasis will be placed on its unique, non-duplicated functions. These functions are built in to ensure that NWS stays on mission even during the most challenging times.
