An Atmospheric Scientist's Guide To Communicating In the Media, Social Media, and Public Forums

Dr. Marshall Shepherd will draw from 25 years of experience as a NASA scientist, professor, and host of The Weather Channel's Weather Geeks talk show to share lessons-learned and insight on communicating our science to broader audiences. Using real-world examples and stories, Dr. Shepherd particularly focuses on the world of media, social media, and public policy forums. He also draws on material from a recent AAAS workshop that he co-convened in Atlanta, Georgia.
