5.6 The Diagnostic Package for Climate Variability by the NOAA Modeling Diagnostic Task Force

Python has been chosen as the integration software for the newly developed diagnostic package by the NOAA Modeling Diagnostic Task Force. The package includes various tools for diagnosis of climate variability and can be utlized under different climate models which will allow to facilitate intercomparison projects.We will present the structure of the package. One example of the diagnosis by the package will be provided. Onoing effort to further improve the package will be discussed.
