From the 1950s through the 1970s, television weather technology did not change greatly, aside from the development of color TV. In the past 40 years, the industry has undergone a revolution, thanks to computer weather graphics. Most “millennial” weather-casters have always had full-color computer weather displays and may not realize the challenges we faced in the days B.C. (before computers)! In this presentation, I will take a look back to the "old days" and journey through the wild times in the 1980s and 90s as the computer graphics revolution roared through the TV industry.
