Forecasting for High School Athletics

Effective weather forecasting has a tremendous impact on high school athletics. Accurate and usable forecasts are vital to team sports such as football, soccer, and extra curricular activities, especially marching bands. Highly localized and often extremely brief events are challenging to forecast but vital to the health and safety of students, coaches and fans. My presentation outlines the needs of educators and athletes, highlighting the products and when they are most needed. More than just a Friday night lights forecast.
