Evaluation of a single column model using SHEBA data

A coupled air/ice/ocean single column model has been formulated to address issues of importance to the ice-albedo feedback in the Arctic. The sea ice model includes an ice thickness distribution. The performance of the single-column model will be evaluated by comparison with the SHEBA data. The focus of the evaluations will be on the simulated surface energy balance.
