This study was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Gutman. Analytical solutions of currents o slopes and over mountains from a height of about one kilometer are analyzed. The effects of Coriolis force are taken into account. The solutions are analyzed using the phase planes. It is shown that, depending on the height of the mountain, the steepness of the slopes and the wind speed, different solutions are possible. It is shown that depending on the condition of the problem (expressed in dimensionless parameters), the wind speed can increase or decrease over the top of the mountain. There are critical values of parameters leading to wave or to discontinuous solutions, such as hydraulic jumps. Examples of such flows in real conditions are given.
