Integrating GLOBE Student Data Observations at NCDC in Climate Monitoring Activities

Paper will describe and highlight how GLOBE student data is used at NCDC. This is a two pronged effort- GLOBE student data is used along with coop data, mesonet and NWS data in the analyses of extreme events- examples and graphs will be highlighted. Also,NCDC has analyzed the 3000 + student station network for completeness and accuracy of observations and will present an analysis of the results.
