A comprehensive set of atmospheric and oceanic profile data was obtained from Global Positioning System (GPS) dropsondes and Airborne Expendable Bathythermographs (AXBT) deployed in the inner-core and periphery of Hurricane Erika on September 8th , 1997. These data have been objectively analyzed to a common storm-relative, three-dimensional framework and will be used to study upper ocean and atmospheric boundary layer structure in Hurricane Erika.  Results from these analyses will be presented.
