Characteristics of Offshore typhoon motion and the Multiscale Dynamic Interaction between it and its Environmental Factors

With MM5, offshore typhoon motion and its interaction with environmental factors are analyzed. Through variational analysis on TOVS data, the dynamic and thermodynamic structure of the environmental field of offshore typhoon and its impact on typhoon motion are investigated. The present paper would also discuss the correlation between multi-scale dyanmic and thermodynamic structure of typhoon environmental field and the features of landfalling typhoon cloud system. Furthermore, impact of the multiscale dynamic and thermodynamic structure of the environmental field on typhoon landfalling track would be disclosed through typhoon track curvature mode.
