The methods of communicating weather information on television have changed a lot over the years. However, the general message has stayed the same. Tell people what it’s going to be like for the next few days.

Today, the public has access to some of the same data used by professional forecasters. To stay relevant and, more importantly, to provide viewers and followers with a trusted source of weather information, broadcast meteorologists have to work harder and smarter. This presentation will explore an innovative way of communicating weather information: marketing.
