Community Support for the WRF Data Assimilation System (WRFDA)

Beginning in 2012, the Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology (MMM) division at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) has received funding for a full-time position for community support for the WRF Data Assimilation system (WRFDA). The aims of this position have been to maintain and improve WRFDA documentation, achieve prompt responses to WRFDA-related queries to the wrfhelp service, and facilitate code development by enabling a smoother transition for user-contributed code and capabilities into the WRFDA system.

This presentation will document the various community-support services available to WRFDA users, including our website, online and on-site tutorials, user's guide and technical note.
