Societal issues relating to the effective use and operational practices relating to water are increasing rapidly. Water is a vital, and increasingly limited, commodity. While meteorological-specific modeling and decision support have matured rapidly over recent decades, hydro-meteorological support has evolved at a slower pace. The ability for decision makers to make informed decisions for water management is increasingly vital. This presentation will provide insight into water manager needs and demonstrate examples of products and services that have been developed to help meet those needs.
