WDT's SkyWise offers a comprehensive solution for developers who need to incorporate weather data into their products. Web APIs provide access to a full suite of weather products, include current and forecast conditions, severe weather alerts, and map tiles depicting radar, satellite, and other products. Mobile SDKs wrap up those APIs and combine them with platform services such as Apple's MapKit, Google Maps, and push notifications, making it easier to drop functionality into your app. Open source example apps demonstrate how to implement SkyWise APIs and SDKs in an iOS or Android app, providing a starting point for app developers or a set of building blocks that can be integrated into existing projects. The authors will provide an introduction to SkyWise capabilities and show real-world apps that use them.
