The nitrogen cycle will limit the photosynthesis and the carbon fluxes, which might lead to the weakened change of carbon fluxes in the magnitude. The nitrogen and carbon cycles are closely related to the water cycle in the climate system. We used the regional land-air coupled mode to explore the interaction between carbon-water cycles and climate change. The summer monsoon climate simulation can be improved over East Asia by the interaction through the surface fluxes tuning effect. For current earth system models, the carbon and water cycles have been explored for the feedback to climate change, but the nitrogen cycles are still at early stage. By comparing the global climate and carbon fluxes of the six global earth system models, what should be incorporated into the global climate dynamical framework is the nitrogen cycle.
