APPLICATION OF NUMERICAL DATA AND SATELLITE IMAGES TO ANALYSIS OF FRONTOGENESIS AND FRONTOLYSIS PROCESSES
Dariusz Chaladyniak, Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland; and I. A. Winnicki
Estimation of frontogenetic function fields is a very important task both from theoretical and practical point of view, which is based on analysis of synoptical charts. The frontogenetic function, which is here in usage, allows to determine areas of probable atmospheric fronts formation, including running of weather conditions in accordance to kind and activity of arising front. There has been an assumption, that the characteristics of frontogenetic function create a base for arising and fronts formation conditions evaluation. There has been in this study for the first time making use of unexplored in practice method of Q-vectors. The mentioned above method has become a base of calculation for vertical movements, their sign and intensity.
