The advent of higher resolution temporal and spatial data networks has brought about a new level of environmental measurement across the world. While these large-scale networks continue to acquire data, the ability for both public and commercial entities to act on the data has continued to lag behind. However, new tools and services are now available to put the power of weather intelligence in the hands of decision-makers who must make time-sensitive financial, operational, and strategic decisions. By applying analytics and leveraging modern technology tools, weather-related decisions can be automated, providing the decision-maker with the peace of mind in making the right call in uncertain situations.
